CKSF Rules & Registration

Registration

  1. To register with the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation, participants must have their own valid email address.
  2. Each person may register only one time using one email address.
  3. The email address you use to register is your unique CKSF login name.

Policy

  1. Decisions of the scholarship administrators are final in all CKSF matters.
  2. Anyone suspected of cheating or tampering (hacking) with the quiz database will be disqualified, and if necessary, prosecuted.
  3. While taking any CKSF quiz, choose the best / most correct answer.
  4. There will be no makeup quizzes because this does not happen in real life.
  5. CKSF administrators or anyone affiliated with the scholarship process are not responsible for any technical issues that may affect the delivery of the scholarship content.
  6. Participants may not obtain help from any other person.
  7. Your name and score will be displayed on our statistics webpage which is open to the public.

Scoring

  1. Five hundred points are awarded for each correct answer.
  2. One point is subtracted for each second it takes to complete a question.
  3. The eligible person with the most points at the end of each scholarship contest is the winner.

Claiming CKSF Awards

  1. Each winner will be verified by CKSF before claiming an award.
  2. In order to be declared the winner, you must have already verified your email address.
  3. An email is sent to your email address at the time you register. You may resend the verification email using the link in your CKSF account.
  4. An electronic claim form appears in your account once you have been declared a CKSF winner.
  5. Claim forms must be completely filled out with valid information.
  6. CKSF distributes scholarship awards quarterly.

General Information

  1. CKSF accounts not accessed for one year will be permanently deleted.
  2. All CKSF programs are run on Eastern Time.
  3. The maximum total of awards one person may win with CKSF is $5,000.
  4. A participant may not consecutively win the same scholarship contest.
  5. To delete your CKSF account, email info@cksf.org with "Please Remove" in the subject line.

  1. To receive email from CKSF, add info@cksf.org to your approved list.
